You can increase your monetization opportunities by placing Google Adsense Ads within your Posts and Articles.
The display of the banners depends primarily on whether Adsense considers your pages to be eligible for ads and whether your In-Article ad is properly configured.
To start, you need to have Google Adsense integrated into your site and have sent the ads.txt file to our Support to add it to the server. If your project meets the situations above, just follow these steps:
1- In your Adsense Dashboard, create your In-Article Ad (See how to do it here).
2- Copy the ad code and paste it into a text editor. The code should look like this:
<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-0000000000000000"
crossorigin="anonymous"></script><ins class="adsbygoogle" data-ad-client="ca-pub-0000000000000000" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-slot="0000000000" style="display:block; text-align:center;"></ins> <script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
3- Edit the code and insert the term right before the </ins> element highlighted in red in the example above. The line should look like this: > </ins>. Save this code for use in the next step.
4- Insert the modified code that you did before inside this model below:
<div style = “text-align: center;”> MODIFIED-ADSENSE-CODE </div>
Note: The “center” element will center the ad on the page, if you do not want this display format, you can change the word center to left (aligned to the left) or right (aligned to the right).
In the end, your code should look like this:
<div center="" style="“text-align:"><script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-0000000000000000"
crossorigin="anonymous"></script><ins class="adsbygoogle" data-ad-client="ca-pub-0000000000000000" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-slot="0000000000" style="display:block; text-align:center;"> </ins> <script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script></div>
Save this code for future use.
5- Open the Article or Blog Post that you want to insert the code.
6- Click to edit the source code (source button).
After the second paragraph (Adsense recommendation) paste your Adsense code (In-Article ad)
Save Changes.
Final considerations:
- Ads may take a few hours to appear.
- Make sure your Ad is set up properly and is not recent (created less than 48 hours ago).
- Make sure your site is approved to show ads.
- Make sure that the ads.txt file has been uploaded to the server.
- In case you have any doubts, consult Adsense support by clicking here.
P.s.: Google Adsense defines its own criteria for the approval and qualification of the pages and sites for displaying ads, eDirectory/Arca Solutions have no prerogative or responsibility to intervene in Google's decisions to display the ads.
