Important Notice: This feature is available with eDirectory 13.2 and above.
The 301 redirect rules will tell web browsers and search engines that a specific page permanently to another URL.
301 redirects rules are useful to make sure anyone that access the old page can still access the new one.
When a new page is created through our 'Page Editor' feature, or a new content is created (such as listings, events) eDirectory will automatically assign a unique URL for it.
For instance:

How to create new 301 Redirect Rules
You can use our new Redirect Manager to create 301 redirect rules for your eDirectory site.
Refer to our SEO Center on the Promote section:
There, refer to the redirects section:
Fill out the desired redirect on the dialog box:
When done, hit 'Add'.
That's it! Your new 301 has been created and is now functional.
How to edit 301 Redirect Rules
You can also edit your redirect rules at any time.
Refer to our SEO Center on the Promote section:
There, refer to the redirects section and click on 'Edit redirect':
Fill out the desired redirect on the dialog box:
When done, hit 'Save'.
That's it! Your new 301 has been edited and is now updated.
How to delete 301 Redirect Rules
You can also delete your redirect rules at any time.
Refer to our SEO Center on the Promote section:
There, refer to the redirects section and click on 'Delete redirect':
The dialog box will prompt you to confirm the action.
When done, hit 'Delete'.
That's it! Your new 301 has been delete and is no longer valid.
How to view your 301 Redirect Rules
You can also view your redirect rules at any time.
Refer to our SEO Center on the Promote section:
There, refer to the redirects section and click on 'View redirect':
The web browser will open a new tab with the old URL.
When setup correctly, you'll be redirected to the new URL.
